AN ACT RECLASSIFYING THE SUB-DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE THIRD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF CEBU, PROVINCE OF CEBU INTO A REGULAR ENGINEERING DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE THIRD ENGINEERING DISTRICT OF CEBU AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. The present third congressional sub-district engineering office in the Province of Cebu created pursuant to the Department of Public Works Order No. 109-A is hereby reclassified into a regular engineering district office to be known as the Third Engineering District of Cebu.
SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 3. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which is a consolidation in the House of Representative was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 23, 2000 and January 29, 2001, respectively.
