REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9031 - AN ACT DECLARING MAY 27 OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AND IN THE CITIES OF NAGA AND IRIGA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS ANNUAL FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. May 27 of every year is hereby declared as a Special Working Public Holiday in the entire Province of Camarines Sur including the cities of Naga and Iriga in commemoration of its foundation anniversary as a political unit.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which is a consolidation of House Bill No. 9885 and Senate Bill No. 2255 was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 8, 2001.
