REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6279 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING EMERGENCY HOSPITALS IN THE SECOND REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT OF ALBAY, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services an emergency hospital each in the poblacion of the Municipality of Rapu-Rapu; in Barrio Villahermosa, also in the Municipality of Rapu-Rapu; in the poblacion of the Municipality of Manito, all in the Province of Albay.

SEC. 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of each of said hospitals during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of said hospitals shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
