AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO HOLD ANNUALLY A LOTTERY OR SWEEPSTAKES FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS BLOOD BANK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold annually a lottery or sweepstakes, the whole proceeds of which shall, after deducting the prizes and expenses as provided for in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the Philippine National Red Cross Blood Bank for its expansion and for its blood typing project.
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
