REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6654 - AN ACT REPEALING SECTION FORTY OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED EIGHT HUNDRED SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE CIVIL SERVICE DECREE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section Forty of Presidential Decree Numbered Eight hundred seven, otherwise known as the Civil Service Decree, is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the Senate was passed by the same on November 9, 1987, and considered concurred in by the House of Representatives when it passed House Bill No. 1521 which is identical to Senate Bill No. 38 on May 9, 1988.
