Maryl Karen Ang G. Go and counsel for respondent-CIR, Atty. EdwardS. Magat appeared. Atty. Go manifested that there is a pending Motion for Reconsideration filed by the petitioner in CTA Case No. 8432. Atty. Magat, on the other hand, manifested that the Pre-Trial has been mandated by the Court since June of this year and still, petitioner has not yet filed a Pre-Trial Brief, and moved that the consolidated cases be dismissed pursuant to Section 4, Rule 18 of the Rules of Court. Finding merit in respondent's arguments, petitioner' s Motion for Reconsideration in CTA Case No. 8432 is DENIED and respondent's motion to dismiss is hereby GRANTED.
