REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1817 - AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS AS A GRANT TO MRS. LUZ B. MAGSAYSAY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as a grant to Mrs. Luz B. Magsaysay, widow of the late President Ramon Magsaysay. This amount shall be tax exempt.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
