REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3656 - AN ACT CONVERTING THE NUMANCIA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NUMANCIA, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE NUMANCIA NATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE NUMANCIA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NUMANCIA, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE NUMANCIA NATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Numancia High School in the Municipality of Numancia, Province of Surigao del Norte, is hereby converted into a national vocational school to be known as the Numancia National Vocational School.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

SEC. 3. The sum of ninety thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four. Such sums as may be needed in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
