AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 11 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR TO BE KNOWN AS "SAMAR DAY", IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDATION DAY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. August 11 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Samar to be known as "Samar Day", in commemoration if its Foundation Day.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
