Subject: Revised Risk-Based Capital Adequacy Framework For Stand-Alone Thrift Banks, Rural Banks and Cooperative Banks
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 660 dated 13 May 2010, approved the attached guidelines implementing the Revised Risk-Based Capital Adequacy Framework for stand-alone thrift banks, rural banks and cooperative banks.
The appropriate risk-based Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) Report Forms shall be covered by a separate issuance. Pilot runs of the CAR Reports based on the revised framework shall be conducted starting with the end-December 2010 report until end-December 2011 report.
This Circular shall take effect on 1 January 2012.
