NON-RISK ASSETS EXEMPT FROM THE COMPUTATION OF A LOCAL COMMERCIAL BANK'S SINGLE BORROWER'S LOAN LIMIT

The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 519 dated May 25, 1990, decided to consider the portions of the peso loans covered by guarantees of international/regional institutions where the Philippine Government is a member/shareholder, such as IFC and/or the Asian Development Bank as non-risk assets exempt from the computation of a local commercial bank’s single borrower’s loan limit.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
