RE : ATTENDANCE AT TRAINING SEMINARS ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CRIMES

The US Department of Justice and the US Embassy in Manila in coordination with the Philippine Judicial Academy will conduct an on-site training on intellectual property cases on April 23 to 24, 2001 at RTC, Branch 9, Cebu City, and on April 25 to 26, 2001 at RTC, Branch 167, Pasig City. An Intellectual Property Crimes Seminar will also be held on April 25 to 27, 2001, at the Holiday Inn, United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila.

In view of the above, Judge Benigno G. Gaviola, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 9, Cebu City, is hereby authorized to participate in the on-site training on April 23 to 24. Judge Alfredo C. Flores, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 167, Pasig City, is similarly authorized to participate in the on-site training on April 25 to 26.

For the Intellectual Property Crimes Seminar on April 25 to 27, the following, in addition to Judge Gaviola and Judge Flores (on April 27), are authorized to attend:

Judge Reynaldo B. Daway, RTC, Branch 90, Quezon City

Judge Nemesio S. Felix, RTC, Branch 56, Makati City

Judge Benjamin T. Antonio, RTC, Branch 170, Malabon, M.M.

Judge Raul E. de Leon, RTC, Branch 258, Parañaque City

Judge Antonio Eugenio, Jr., RTC, Branch 1, City of Manila

Attendance in the Training Seminar on April 25 to 27 shall be on Official Time.
