SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. JOSE CORNELIO S. LUKBAN FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 19 July 2016 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 11252, entitled "Clark Development Corporation, complainant v. Atty. Jose Cornelio S. Lukban, respondent" to wit:

WHEREFORE, Atty. Jose Cornelio S. Lukban is found GUILTY of violating Canon 10, Rule 10.01; Canon 17; Canon 18; Rules 6.03 and 15.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of THREE (3) YEARS. He is STERNLY WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar act will be dealt with more severely.

Atty. Lukban is also DIRECTED to inform this Court of the date of his receipt of this Resolution to determine the reckoning point of the effectivity of his suspension.

Let a copy of this Resolution be made part of Atty. Lukban's records in the Office of the Bar confidant, and copies be furnished the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Office of the Court Administrator for circulation to all courts.
