SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. RENI M. DUBLIN FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 20 April 2015 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 5239, entitled "George Arthur Warriner and Aurora del Rio- Warriner v. Atty. Reni M. Dublin,” to wit:

Acting on respondent Atty. Reni M. Dublin's Verified Motion for Leave to Resume Practice of Law and his compliances with the Resolution dated 26 January 2015 which required him to submit Certifications from the IBP Davao Chapter where he is affiliated and the Office of the Executive Judges of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), and Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) of Davao City where he practices his legal profession, both affirming that he has ceased and desisted from the practice of law and has not appeared in court as counsel from 6 December 2013 to 6 June 2014, and considering that the documents submitted by the respondent in compliance therewith, all affirmed that he has fully served the six (6)-month suspension from the practice of law mandated in the Resolution dated 18 November 2013 may be considered as substantial compliance with Resolution dated 26 January 2015, the Court resolves to LIFT the Order of Suspension from the practice of law for six (6) months meted against Atty. Reni M. Dublin and ALLOW him to resume his practice of law.

The Court NOTES the Report and Recommendation dated 7 April 2015 of the Office of the Bar Confidant.
