SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. RESTITO F. FANO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) MONTH

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 7 April 2014 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 10286, entitled "Atty. Rodrigo B. Bumactao v. Atty. Restito F. Fano," to wit:

WHEREFORE, 'Resolution No. XX-2013-443 of the IBP Board of Governors is REVERSED and SET ASIDE. Respondent Atty. Restito F. Fano is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for one (1) month and STERNLY WARNED that any similar infraction will be dealt with more severely.

In a Resolution dated 2 July 2014, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration. Respondent received the Resolution dated 1 July 2014 on 14 August 2014.
