SUBJECT: SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. VICENTE G. RELLOSA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 19 February 2008, in Administrative Case No, 5738 entitled, "Wilfredo M. Catu vs, Atty. Vicente G. Rellosa", to wit:

"WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Vicente G. Rellosa is hereby found GUILTY of professional misconduct for violating his.oath as a lawyer and Canons 1 and 7 and Rule 1.01 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is therefore SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of six , months effective from his receipt of this resolution- He is sternly WARNED that any repetition of similar acts shall be dealt with more severely.

Respondent is strongly advised to look up and take to heart the meaning of the word delicadeza."

Respondent received the resolution on 5 March 2008 per Registry Return Receipt No. 2024. In a Resolution dated 2 July 2008, the Court further DENIED WITH FINALITY the motion for reconsideration of Atty. Vicente G. Reliosa.
