Asisclo A. Castafieda, III and counsel for respondent, Attys. Sylvia R. Alma Jose and Rowell B. Vicente, appeared for the Pre-trial Conference. When asked why there was no Pre-trial Brief filed for petitioner, counsel for petitioner explained that he found out only about the Notice of Pre-trial Conference on January 28, 2015 since it appeared that their office had a problem with the routing of documents and apologized for the oversight. Record shows that the Notice of Pre-trial Conference was received by the office of petitioner on November 5, 2014.
