SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. MA. CHERE GRACITA C. REYES FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 17 August 2016 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 10241, entitled "Tan and Concepcion Law Offices v. Atty. Ma. Chere Gracita C. Reyes," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the recommendation of the Integrated Bar of Philippines' Board of Governors in the Notice of Resolution No. XX-2013-196 dated March 20, 2013 (Annex "A") which approved with modification the report and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner dated June 14, 2012. Accordingly, respondent Atty. Ma. Chere Gracita C. Reyes is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months from notice hereof, for gross violation of professional ethics.

Respondent received the resolution on 26 September 2016.
