SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. RODHELYN T. DEL MUNDO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 19 July 2017 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11579, entitled "Efren D. Diaz v. Atty. Rodhelyn T. del Mundo," to wit:

Acting on respondent's motion for reconsideration of the IBP Notice of Resolution No. XXII-2016-175 dated 25 February 2016 (which adopted with modification the recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner increasing the penalty to six [6] months suspension from the practice of law considering the gravity of the offense committed by respondent), the Court resolves to DENY the motion with FINALITY , no substantial argument having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought.

No further pleadings or motions shall be entertained in this case.

Per Registry Return Receipt No. 15452, respondent received a copy of the Resolution dated 19 July 2017 on 23 August 2017.
