SUBJECT:
SUSPENSION OF MEGA PACIFIC INSURANCE CORPORATION FOR ACCREDITATION AND AUTHORITY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THE COURT
The Supreme Court Third Division issued a Resolution dated 18 March 2002, in A. M. No. 02-2-96-RTC, quoted hereunder as follows:
"Considering the Court Administrator's memorandum dated January 25, 2001 finding that Mega Pacific Insurance Corporation, acting through its manager Ms. Leonarda M. Nieto, acted in utter disrespect to this Court when it submitted a falsified certification that allowed it to conduct business illegally, the Court Resolved to SUSPEND the accreditation and authority of Mega Pacific Insurance Corporation to conduct business with the Court for one (1) year and that this incident be formally reported to the Insurance Commission for its appropriate action and the DIRECT the Mega Pacific Insurance Corporation, through its Manager, Ms. Leonarda M. Nieto to SUBMIT a report on the investigation on this matter within ten (10) days from notice."
Accordingly, all concerned are hereby refrained from conducting business with Mega Insurance Corporation.
