SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. WILFREDO PAUL D. PANGAN AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR ONE (1) YEAR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive potion of the Decision of the first Division dated 25 November 2008, in Administrative Case No. 5851 entitled, "Grace Dela Cruz Sillano vs. atty. Wilfredo Paul D. Pangan", to wit

"WHEREFORE , the Court finds respondent Atty. Wilfredo Paul D. Pangan GUILTY of violating the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS him incumbent notarial commission, if any; and PROHIBITS him from being commissioned as notary public for one year, effective immediately, with a stern warning that a repetition of the same or similar offense shall be deal with more severely."

In his manifestation dated 19 December 2008, respondent informed the Court that the begun serving his suspension on 12 December 2008.
