SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. REBENE C. CARRERA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision of the First Division dated 10 December 2014 in Administrative Case No. 10632 entitled "Rustico R. Agapito, Jr. vs. Atty. Rebene C. Carrera," to wit:

The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in.the attached Resolution dated September 28, 2013. Accordingly, the Court finds respondent Atty. Rebene C. Carrera GUILTY of serious misconduct for his unauthorized appearances as cou/isel for complainant Rustico R. Agapito, Jr. before the National Labor Relations Commission and is thus meted with the penalty of SUSPENSION for a period of six (6) months, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same infraction will merit a more severe sanction.

In a Resolution dated 20 April 2015, the Court further DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for recommendation, there being no substantial matter raised to warrant a modification of this Court's Resolution. Respondent received on 8 July 2015 the Resolution dated 20 April 2015.
