Subject: Bankers Institute of the Philippines Training and Development Week
Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1248 dated 6 March 2007 (copy attached) designating the second week of March of every year as Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL) Training and Development Week, all banks are enjoined to support BAIPHIL's program of activities during the said week.
We hope that through the observance of BAIPHIL Training and Development Week, banks shall recognize the importance of continuous knowledge enhancement and information exchange, especially in the areas of corporate governance, risk management and finance, in promoting industry-wide best practices and providing improved banking services.
