AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED JUDGES OF FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS IN THE PROVINCES OF LEYTE AND SAMAR AT THE MULTI-SECTORAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON AGRARIAN JUSTICE

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with the Agrarian Justice Foundation, Inc. (AJFI), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and the Department of Justice (DOJ), will conduct the Multi-Sectoral Seminar-Workshop on Agrarian Justice for the Provinces of Leyte and Samar for selected judges of the First and Second Level Courts from 23 to 25 May 2007, at the La Rica Hotel, Tacloban City.

The following judges are required to attend and participate in the seminar- workshop:

The attendance of the participants in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL TIME. All properly documented travel expenses shall be reimbursed.

The participating judges shall see to it that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
