AN ACT GRANTING GRATUITY TO THE HEIRS OF THE LATE REPRESENTATIVE ATANACIO AMPIG AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The legal heirs of the late Representative Atanacio Ampig, who was among those killed in the sinking of S.S. Corregidor, are hereby given a gratuity of fifteen thousand pesos.

SEC. 2. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of fifteen thousand pesos for the purpose indicated in the preceding section.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
