REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9057 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY DURIAN, MUNICIPALITY OF LAS NIEVES, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE TO BE KNOWN AS DURIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in Barangay Durian, Municipality of Las Nieves, Province of Agusan del Norte to be known as the Durian National High School.

Sec. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 23, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
