REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4830 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EXPERIMENT STATION AND SEED FARM IN THE PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SOUTHERN LEYTE EXPERIMENT STATION AND SEED FARM AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Plant Industry, an experiment station and seed farm in the Province of Southern Leyte, to be known as Southern Leyte Experiment Station and Seed Farm.

SEC. 2. The Director of Plant Industry shall establish said experiment and seed farm on a suitable public land that may be reserved or acquired for the purpose.

SEC. 3. The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said experiment station and seed farm during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as be needed for its operation and maintenance shall included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
