AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION OF JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT, COURT OF APPEALS AND SANDIGANBAYAN, JUDGES OF THE COURT OF TAX APPEALS, OFFICIALS OF THE PHILIPPINE JUDICIAL ACADEMY, COURT ADMINISTRATOR, SELECTED CLERKS OF COURT AND PERSONNEL OF THE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE IN A WORKSHOP FOR THE VALIDATION OF THE DETAILED DESIGN REPORT OF ADB-TA 3693

In support of the Action Program for Judicial Reform, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the Supreme Court to strengthen judicial independence. The First Design Report of this Technical Assistance consisting of strategic reform recommendations to support the reform goal of strengthening the independence, accountability and efficiency of the Judiciary has been presented in consultation workshops with the various stakeholders of the judicial system. Taking into consideration the feedback from these consultation workshops, the ADB-TA Project Team has prepared the detailed design of the strategic reforms. This detailed design will be presented by the ADB-TA Project Team to key officials of the Judiciary to provide a forum for discussion, and, thereafter for a consensus and agreement on, and the adoption of such aspects of the proposed reforms as may meet favorable action.
