SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR FIVE (5) MONTHS OF ATTY. JOSE B. ALVAREZ
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 4 December 2000 in G.R.' No. 126025, entitled "People v. Joselito Almendral," to wit:
ACCORDINGLY, Atty. Jose B. Alvarez is SUSPENDED immediately from the practice of law for five (5) months from receipt of this Resolution and to pay a fine of P3,000.00 which he is required to pay within thirty (30) days also from receipt hereof.
The order of suspension, as mandated in the Resolution dated 4 December 2000 in G.R. No. 126025, was re-docketed as a regular Administrative Case No. 9723 (Re: Resolution dated December 4, 2000 in G.R. No. 126025 [P. v Joselito Almendral] vs. Atty. Jose B. Alvarez).
