ALLOWING INTERESTED COURT ATTORNEYS AND LAWYERS TO ATTEND ON OFFICIAL TIME THE MONTHLY LECTURES UNDER THE CHIEF JUSTICE HILARIO G. DAVIDE, JR. DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES

WHEREAS, one of the activities recommended by the Valedictory Executive Committee is the Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide, Jr. Distinguished Lecture Series, to be sponsored/organized by the Philippine Judicial Academy and the Public Information Office. For these lectures, to be held monthly until the retirement of Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide, Jr., local and foreign lecturers who are experts in their respective fields have been invited;

WHEREAS, the lectures shall be held at venues provided by the participating law schools, the Supreme Court Session Hall, and other venues determined by the organizers, in the afternoon of the scheduled day of the month;

WHEREAS, the lectures being open to the public, court attorneys and lawyers working in the Supreme Court may take advantage thereof to broaden their perspectives and update their knowledge of the law and of other relevant issues and subjects;

NOW, THEREFORE, to maximize the benefits derived from the activity, court attorneys and lawyers working in the Supreme Court who are interested to attend the lectures are hereby allowed to do so on official time, with prior written permission from their respective heads of office.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
