SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. FLORENCIO A. NARIDO, JR. FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) MONTH

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 21 November 2016 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11487, entitled "Shirley Dal-Castañeda v. Atty. Florencio A. Narido, Jr.," to wit:

WHEREFORE, finding respondent Atty. Florencio A. Narido, Jr., GUILTY of violating Canon 1, Rules 1.01 and 1.02 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, the Court imposes the penalty of SUSPENSION from the practice of law for one (1) month, with a STERN WARNING that the repetition of a similar offense shall be dealt with more severely.

Respondent, thru authorized agent, Virginia P. Panusa, received the copy of the Resolution dated 21 November 2016 on 27 December 2016.
