SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. GEORGE M. FLORENDO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Third Division dated 12 December 2011, in Administrative Case No. 4428, entitled "Elpidio P. Tiong vs. Atty. George M. Florendo," to wit:

"WHEREFORE, respondent ATTY. GEORGE M. FLORENDO is hereby found GUILTY of Gross Immorality and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for SIX (6) MONTHS effective upon notice hereof, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar offense will be dealt with more severely."

In a Resolution dated 4 July 2012, the Court further DEEMED as SERVED on the respondent the said Decision.
