TO : ALL JUDGES AND CLERKS OF COURT OF THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS IN THE PROVINCE OF AURORA

SUBJECT : INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR MEDIATION TRAINEES ON COURT-ANNEXED MEDIATION

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), through the Philippine Mediation Center Office (PMCO), in coordination with the Office of the Court Administrator, is expanding its Court-Annexed Mediation Program in the Province of Aurora.

To formally mark the establishment of the Philippine Mediation Center Unit (PMCU) in Baler, Aurora,' an Internship Program for Mediation Trainees will be conducted from 1 August to 30 September 2016. This activity aims to provide Mediation Trainees the opportunity to apply what they have learned from the Basic Mediation Course held at the Governor's Garden Hotel in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, on 17-20 May 2016, by handling mediatable cases where they should successfully settle at least three (3) out of five (5) cases assigned to them, in order to be recommended for accreditation as Court-Annexed Mediators. This program will be conducted under the supervision of a Mentor-Coach.

In connection therewith, you are hereby directed to conduct an inventory of mediatable cases and refer them to the PMC Unit in Baler, Aurora, starting 1 August 2016 and thenceforth.
