AN ACT CREATING A POSITION OF DEPUTY REGISTER OF DEEDS FOR NORTHERN CAGAYAN

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby created a position of deputy register of deeds for Northern Cagayan.

SEC. 2. The Deputy Register of Deeds for Northern Cagayan shall hold office in the Municipality of Aparri and shall record and sign exclusively registerable titles, documents and other instruments relative to lands situated in the Municipalities of Aparri, Camalaniugan, Lallo, Gattaran, Lasam, Allacapan, Buguey, Gonzaga, Abulug, Claveria, Ballesteros, Pamplona, Sanchez Mira, Calayan, Langangan and Sta. Ana: Provided, That he shall be under the administrative supervision of the Register of Deeds of Cagayan.

SEC. 3. The Deputy Register of Deeds for the Province of Cagayan at the approval of this Act shall be assigned to take over all the duties and functions of the Deputy Register of Deeds for Northern Cagayan.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
