SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. BARTOLOME C. LAWSIN FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 7 October 2009 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 8385, entitled "Usman C. Comaradang v. Atty. Bartolome C. Lawsin," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated 6 October 2008 (Annex "A") as approved by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in IBP Board Resolution dated 11 December 2008 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS Atty. Bartolome C. Lawsin from the practice of law for six (6) months from notice.

Respondent received the resolution on 13 November 2009.
