SUBJECT : Exemption from P.D. 1853 of the Advance Payment of Customs Duties of Accredited Exporters per the Export Development Act of 1994 (R.A. 7844)
Attached for your reference and guidance is a copy of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the Export Development Act (EDA) of 1994 (R.A. 7844). We wish to invite your attention to the provision of Rule VII Section 2 (a) thereof which exempts eligible exporters from the requirement of P.D. 1853 or the advance payment of Customs duties and taxes.
