REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4797 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A HOSPITAL IN ILOILO CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS ILOILO CITY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A HOSPITAL IN ILOILO CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS ILOILO CITY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a hospital in Iloilo City, to be known as Iloilo City Hospital.

SEC. 2. The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of the building. The operation and maintenance of the hospital shall be in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred thirty-nine, otherwise known as the Hospital Financing Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
