SUBJECT: SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. DANILO L. BOLISLIS AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR ONE (1) YEAR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 07 March 2012, in Administrative Case No. 9070, entitled "Spouses Jaime Leo and Mary C. Leo vs. Atty. Danilo L. Bolislis, Jr.," to wit:

"The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated 28 February 2008 (Annex "A") as approved [with modifications] by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in IBP Board Resolution dated 26 June 2011 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS Atty. Danilo L. Bolislis from the practice of law for six (6) months, REVOKES his notarial commission, if any, and DISQUALIFIES him from being commissioned as notary public for a period of one (1) year following his suspension."

In a Resolution dated 03 September 2012, the Court further DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration thereof for lack of merit.
