SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. SANNAH B. FRIVALDO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 4 June 2018 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 12009, entitled "Marilou D. Toone, represented by Merlinda D. Artates vs. Atty. Sannah B. Frivaldo," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court finds respondent Atty. Sannah B. Frivaldo to have violated the Code of Professional Responsibility and orders her SUSPENDED for three (3) months from the practice of law effective immediately. She is further ORDERED to return to complainant the amount of Two Hundred Eighty Six Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Eight Pesos (P286,238.00), less legitimate expenses.

Let a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Bar Confidant to be included in the records of the respondent; the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for distribution to all its chapters; and the Office of the Court Administrator for dissemination to all courts throughout the country.

As per Registry Return Receipt No. 76808, the respondent, thru Ms. Luz Emilia T. Boayes, received on 31 July 2018 a copy of the aforesaid Resolution.
