SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. ALFREDO VILLAMOR, JR,

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 31 January 2018 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 9851, entitled "Clarissa Victoria Umale v. Attys. Alfredo Villamor, Jr. and Raul Ibay Tolentino," to wit:

The Court resolves:

(1) to NOTE the report and recommendation dated August 17, 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant; and

(2) to AWAIT the compliance of respondent Atty. Raul Ibay Tolentino.

The Court further resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the report and recommendation of the Office of the Bar Confidant in the attached Report and Recommendation dated August 17, 2017 (Annex A). Accordingly:

(1) the order of suspension from the practice of law imposed on respondent Atty. Alfredo Villamor, Jr. is considered LIFTED , and

(2) respondent Atty. Alfredo Villamor, Jr. is now ALLOWED to RESUME his practice of law.
