TO: ALL CONCERNED JUDGES , COURT PERSONNEL AND ACCREDITED MEDIATIONS

RE: EVALUATION OF THE COURT-ANNEXED MEDIATION PROJECT

WHEREAS , the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) is currently undertaking an Evaluation of the Court-Annexed Mediation Project in coordination with the Social Weather Stations (SWS) and in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF);

WHEREAS , SWS is doing a mail survey of all stakeholders of the Philippine Mediation Centers (PMC) in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao;

WHEREAS , the purpose of this project is to determine and evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the mediation project, particularly, with respect to mediation systems and procedures, among others;

WHEREAS , the cooperation of all concerned judges, court personnel and accredited mediators is imperative for the success of the project;

WHEREFORE , you are hereby enjoined to submit a strictly confidential response to the enclosed questionnaire. Upon completion, return it to SWS using the enclosed business reply envelope not later than May 14, 2004.
