SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. HAIDE V. GUMBA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 05 October 2011, in Administrative Case No. 9000, entitled "Tomas P. Tan, Jr. vs. Atty. Haide V. Gumba", to wit:

"WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Haide B. Vista-Gumba is found administratively liable for grave misconduct. She is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for SIX (6) MONTHS, effective immediately, with a warning that a repetition of the same or a similar act will be dealt with more severely."

In a Resolution dated 13 August 2012, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration considering that the basic issues have already been passed upon and that there is no substantial argument to warrant a modification of the Court's resolution dated 05 October 2011.
