SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. REYNALDO Q. MARQUEZ

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 17 October 2016 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 4414, entitled "Judge Arcadio I. Manigbas v. Atty. Reynaldo Marquez," to wit:

The Court resolves:

(1) to NOTE (a) the respondent's compliance/manifestation dated August 24, 2016 reiterating his motion to lift the order of his suspension from the practice of law as he has already submitted the required certifications and paid the fine in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00) as evidenced by the thereto attached official receipt no. 162447-SC-EP dated August 23, 2016; and (b) the Report and Recommendation dated September 14, 2016 of the Office of the Bar Confidant; and

(2) to LIFT the order of respondent's suspension from the practice of law pursuant to the Resolution dated June 10, 2009 and ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.
