Subject: Reporting Templates of the Revised Risk-Based Capital Adequacy Framework
Further to Memorandum No. M-2006-015, attached are the reporting templates of the Revised Risk-Based Capital Adequacy Framework (Revised Framework) for purposes of the trial reports to be submitted for the fourth quarter of 2006 up to the second quarter of 2007. Consequently, banks are to submit both the existing capital adequacy ratio (CAR) reports and the attached reports for end-December 2006, end-March 2007, and end-June 2007.
A briefing on the Revised Framework and the proper filling out of its reporting templates will be conducted at the BSP’s Executive Business Center on 23-24 November 2006 and 30 November-1 December 2006. The aim of the briefing is to familiarize participants with the Revised Framework and its reporting templates to ensure a successful conduct of the trial runs. In this regard, each bank is instructed to send two (2) participants who are directly involved in the preparation of banks’ CAR reports. The names of these participants and their contact details should be submitted to the BSP on or before 31 October 2006.
