SUBJECT : DISBARMENT OF ATTY. PEDRO S. DIAMANTE

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Court En Banc dated 05 August 2014 in Administrative Case No. 7766, entitled "Jose Allan Tan vs. Atty. Pedro S. Diamante," to wit:

WHEREFORE, respondent Pedro S. Diamante is hereby DISBARRED for Gross Misconduct and violations of Rule 1.01, Canon 1, and Rule 18.04, Canon 18 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, and his name is ordered STRICKEN OFF from the roll of attorneys.

In a Resolution dated 21 October 2014, the Court further DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration, there being no substantial matters raised to warrant the reversal of the questioned Decision. Respondent both received the Decision dated 05 August 2014 and Resolution dated 21 October 2014 on 03 September 2014 and 05 January 2015, respectively.
