SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF ATTY. MERCEDES BUHAYANG-MARGALLO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Supreme Court En Banc dated 03 February 2015 in Administrative Case No. 10537 entitled "Reynaldo G. Ramirez vs. Atty. Mercedes Buhayang-Margallo" to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Petition for Review is DENIED. The Recommendations and Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines dated March 21, 2014 is ACCEPTED, ADOPTED AND AFFIRMED. Atty. Mercedes Buhayang-Margallo is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for two (2) years, with a stern warning that a repetition of the same or similar acts shall be dealt with more severely. This decision is immediately executory.

As shown in the Registry Return Receipt, the respondent received on 13 March 2015 the said Resolution.
