SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) MONTHS OF ATTY. DONATO C. MANGUIAT

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the Third Division dated March 9; 2015 in Administrative Case No. 9873 (Walfrido L Lozada, Sr. and Herminia Lozada vs. Atty. Donato C. Manguiat), to wit:

The Court resolves to NOTE the Office of the Bar Confidant's Comment dated January 29, 2015 on respondent's letters dated June 10, 2014 and August 6, 2014, recommending that the order of suspension from the practice of law for two (2) months meted against respondent be now lifted and allow him to resume his practice of law as he has fully served his suspension.

In view thereof, the Court likewise resolves to:

(1) LIFT the said order of suspension against respondent and ALLOW him to resume his practice of law; and

(2) NOTE WITHOUT ACTION respondent's letter dated January 23, 2015 reiterating his appeal to the Court for the issuance of a clearance allowing him to resume his practice of law, having served his two (2) months suspension and upon submission of the attached certification issued by the Office of the Clerk of Court, Quezon City, stating that he did not notarize any document from the period January 10, 2014 to March 10, 2014.

The Court further resolves to NOTE:

(1) respondent's notice of change of address (compliance) dated January 28, 2015 informing the Court of his new residence address at Lot 1, Block 3, Cerf Townhomes B, Phase 3, Countryhomes Subdivision, Putatan, Muntinlupa City; and

(2) respondent's Manifestation dated January 28, 2015 stating that he is not aware of the change of residence as well as the new residence address of the complainants.
