ALL JUDGES WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE METROPOLITAN AND CITY JUDGES ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES

SUBJECT: CONVENTION AND SEMINAR OF THE METROPOLITAN AND CITY JUDGES ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES ON 16-18 NOVEMBER 2000 AT THE CENTURY PARK SHERATON HOTEL, MANILA

The Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines will hold its Convention and Seminar on 16 to 18 November 2000 at the Century Park Sheraton Hotel, Vito Cruz, Malate, Manila. All members of the Association who are interested are hereby authorized to attend the Convention and Seminar on official time chargeable to local funds if offered and available.

It is understood that the Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines shall comply with the provisions of (a) Section 12 of Republic Act No. 8557 establishing the Philippine Judicial Academy; and (b) PHILJA Memorandum Circular No. 1-99 on "Rules and Requirements pertaining to the Inclusion of PHILJA Educational Programs in all Conventions/Conferences of Judges and Court Personnel." It is also understood that the said Association shall inform the PHILJA of all definite and proper arrangements for the staff and lecturers thereof who shall be present at the Convention and Seminar.

The President of the Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines shall submit to the Office of the Court Administrator within ten (10) days from the closing of the activity (1) a complete report on the activities undertaken during the same; and (2) copies of the registration and daily attendance sheets signed by the members actually present.
