UY AND MARGARET L. UY, Accused. x----------------------x ORDER When this case was called for Pre-Trial Conference, Special Prosecutor, Atty. Christopher G. Eugenio as well as the accused, Margaret L. Uy and her counsel, Atty. Gina Lorenzana appeared. Considering that CTA Criminal Case No. 0-671 raffled to the First Division and CTA Criminal Case No. 0-670 raffled to the Second Division, involve the same parties and common questions of law and/ or facts pursuant to Section 1, Rule 31 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended, the Resolution promulgated by the First Division dated July 11, 2018 consolidating CTA Criminal Case No. 0-671 with CTA Criminal Case No. 0-670, is hereby CONFIRMED. Accordingly, let the arraignment of the accused in CTA Criminal Case No. 0-671 proceed. Upon manifestation of defense counsel that accused Cipriano C. Uy is already deceased and considering that a Certified True Copy of his Death Certificate was submitted by the defense counsel, the oral motion without objection interposed by the prosecution that the case against accused Cipriano C. Uy, be dismissed, is hereby GRANTED and the offense charged against accused Cipriano C. Uy, is accordingly, DISMISSED.

ORDER CTA CRIM. CASE NOS. 0-670 pp vs. E & D Parts Supply, lnc./Cipriano C. Uy and Margaret L. Uy Subsequently, arraignment of accused Margaret L. Uy proceeded. The accused, Margaret L. Uy, whose identity was confirmed to be the same person charged in the Information in this case, and duly assisted by her counsel, Atty. Gina Lorenzana, after having been read the Information in a language known and understood by her, entered a plea of "NOT GUILTY". Enter her plea of "NOT GUILTY" into the record. As agreed upon by the parties, SET the consolidated preliminary conference before Atty. Ma. Victoria P. Dural on July 30, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., at which date and time, both the prosecution and the defense are ordered to be ready with their respective documentary evidence duly marked by them as Exhibits P-1, P-2, P-3 and so on for the plaintiff and Exhibits A-1, A-2, A-3 and so on for the accused, pursuant to CTA Circular No. 01-2013, for comparison. Further, both the prosecution and the defense are ordered to be ready with the list and descriptions of exhibits for comparison, the proposed facts and issues, the list of witnesses, save the same in a USB, and bring it during the scheduled preliminary conference, to facilitate the preparation of the Minutes of Preliminary Conference. Further, as agreed upon by the parties, SET the Pre-Trial Conference for the consolidated cases on August 16, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. The hearing previously set on July 23,2018 at 9:00a.m. is cancelled.
