SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. LIBERTAD RAMOS-RASA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 24 January 2018 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 3S52, entitled "Sylvia Lorenzo Stolk v. Libertad Ramos-Rasa, " to wit:

Considering the compliance dated 11 September 2017 of respondent Atty. Libertad Ramos-Rasa, requesting for the lifting of her six (6) months suspension from trie practice of law per the Court's Resolution dated 25 February 2015, and it appearing that based on records and documents submitted respondent has fully served her suspension of six (6) months and paid the P5,000.00 fine imposed in the Resolution dated 3 July 2017, per O.R. No. 0192966-SC-EP dated 7 September 2017 issued by the SC Cash and Collection and Disbursement FMBO, this Court, the Court resolves to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law of respondent Atty. Libertad Ramos-Rasa as mandated in the Resolution dated 25 February 2015, and to ALLOW respondent to RESUME her practice of law.

The Court NOTES the Report and Recommendation dated 27 September 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant.
